Our Judging Process is very unique in that it gives the community an opportunity to be involved. World renowned Galleries and Museums will be contacted to nominate three (3) of their favorite domestic and international artists in the following categories: painters, sculptors, photographers. Architectural Institutes will nominate their favorite architects in the same manner. The artists and architects who receive the most nominations from the participating Galleries, Museums and Architectural Institutions will be the recipient of the prestigious Save the Arts Award.
Other artists and collegiate art institutions will also have an opportunity to participate in the Save the Arts Awards as well.

Save the Arts Quintessence Award Lifetime Achievement Honorees selected by the Save the Arts Board and Committee members
Save the Arts Museum Choice Award Artists are nominated by participating museums in the following categories:
Best Domestic Painter/Best International Painter
Best Domestic Sculptor/Best International Sculptor
Best Domestic Photographer/Best International Photographer
Save the Arts Gallery Choice Award Artists are nominated by participating galleries in the following categories:
Best Domestic Painter/Best International Painter
Best Domestic Sculptor/Best International Sculptor
Best Domestic Photographer/Best International Photographer
Save the Arts Grand Architect Award Architects are nominated by participating architectural institutes in the following categories:
Best Domestic Architect/Best International Architect
Save the Arts Peoples Choice Award Artists and students from participating art institutions will submit artwork that will be posted online. The nominee who receives the most popular votes wins. Two Peoples Choice Winners will be awarded with the Save the Arts plaque that will be presented during the Save the Arts Awards Show NC middle school and high school students will receive a Save the Arts Certificate along with a special gift for their winning submissions
